The Craziest Things People Have Seen At Disney

A couple months back I asked a Disney Facebook group this question:

What is the craziest thing that you’ve ever witnessed at Disney?

My phone began blowing up with comments. In the end, over 1,500 people had commented their crazy stories. Prepare yourself to laugh, because here are my favorites.

“I once saw a man in Epcot eating a soft pretzel. Normal right? Here’s the kicker… He was dipping it in mustard OUT OF HIS BELLY BUTTON.”

“During the food and wine festival at Epcot, I witnessed a drunk woman jump off the bridge by France because she wanted to swim.”

“A few years ago I was working at small world and when I was in the tower I saw a woman pull out her water bottle, dunk it into the small world water, then drink it.”

“We were at blizzard beach. I was just people watching. An older man in a speedo was standing right in front of me also people watching with his hands on his hips. I looked at him…and realized there was a gap in his speedo and everything was hanging out for the whole world to see!I told my husband, “You have to tell him!” He said, “No way! I’m not going to tell him that!” So… there he stood in all his glory. Poor guy.”

“In the toy store at Downtown Disney: A little boy said loudly,  “I want a little buzz and a big woody.” A middle aged woman nearby said, “Don’t we all honey, don’t we all.’”

“2 cockroaches mating on my leg. Be careful where you sit when it’s dark!”

“I saw a father and his two teenage sons take their shorts off since they were wet from riding splash mountain and lay them on the rocks by Pecos Bills to dry…Just standing there in their speedo briefs like nothing was going on.”

“When I worked there I saw a husband tell his wife that he was having an affair and wanted a divorce. He thought bringing her to the happiest place on earth would lighten the blow.”

“We witnessed a vomit chain reaction in one of the restaurants. It was so bad that they had to close down the restaurant and we walked past it like at least 5 hours later and they were still cleaning in there and there was piles and piles of towels outside.”

“Lady throwing a heavy goblet at a man across the table at Cinderella’s Royal Table. They were at a big table of 8-20 or so. It flew into the table next to them and shattered! Several managers came out of nowhere to take care of that mess.”

“My brother is legally blind. I don’t know who thought it was okay for him to push my mom in her wheelchair but he ran over people laying down on the ground waiting for the parade like they were speed bumps.”

“Goofy putting his hand through a glass window at Tony’s restaurant. All of the glass ended up in somebody’s food.”

“A little girl put her head in one of the hand driers and got it stuck. She looked to be about 10. Only her mother was helping because everyone else was dumbfounded. I went and got a CM to come help. They ended up having to break the dryer to get her out.”

“I saw a guy propose to his girlfriend at Cinderella’s Royal Table…he was on his knee and she said no. I felt so bad for him.”

“I was working at Animal Kingdom and I encountered a very rude guest who just made me feel like utter poo. So rude. Later in the day, I was working outside for the bird show on Discovery island and NO JOKE the same rude guest walked by me and yawned RIGHT as one of the birds flying ahead pooped IN HIS MOUTH. Revenge is so sweet.”

These kept me cringing and laughing for days! What is the craziest thing you’ve witnessed at Disney?

  1. While wanting to take a dip in the Art of Animation’s main pool, we arrived to find the lifeguards getting everyone out of the water. Apparently a child had pooped inside the pool and it now needed to be cleaned. Luckily for us we were able to walk to the Cars themed pool. 👍🏼🙂

  2. I have never seen anything like this at Disney. Harsh for the fellow that proposed, perhaps a private place is better for that kind of question. Love the karma, bird poop story, what goes around comes around!
