  1. I hope I can do all those things listed in your article. But with my busy work, I don’t know how to manage my time properly. Huhu

  2. I loved this post! I find myself in my own head much too often so it was nice reading a list of ways to get out of it. Thus far reading and spending time with my friends has been the most effective! Anytime I’m reading a good book or having a blast with a friend I genuinely forget about what it was that was stressing me out in the first place ๐Ÿ™‚ I also find that talking about it actually helps; sometimes when you speak your worries aloud you realize that they are nothing to fear!

  3. I think all of us need to take a mental health break and get out of our heads. In the past, for me, it’s been decorating cakes (I’m a hobby baker), taking a walk on my favorite nature trail, or journaling. Today, it’s coloring, walking on the beach (I’ve relocated, very few nature trails on the coast!), or sleeping it off. Truth be told, i need to get out of my head more often! Great post!

  4. I Love your post. Really makes you think about what can keep you calmer and enjoy life more. That’s why I’m a massive fan of mindfulness and crafts, which really helps me take a breather from hectic life. It’s also really good for your mental health.

  5. Writing helps me escape from my reality. Putting my thoughts down on paper is my way of getting out of my head. Other than that, going on a good run always helps. Great post.

  6. Half of the things on your list are the same for me…..yoga, reading, nature, music, writing, baths. I’m still working on being present in the moment though. One of my goals for this year. lol

  7. The last one, being present in the moment! I learned it this year and itโ€™s changed my life! When Iโ€™ve got too much going on Iโ€™ll stop and listen to anything thatโ€™s going on around me, listen to my breath, plant my feet down, tell myself what I see. All this helps to stay present and brings me back to a good mental state of mind.

  8. Praying is number one as it helps to have the correct perspective on issues. Reading, writing poetry or just also help to relax and have change of mood. Getting down to my ideal size also has me over the moon.
